Vaggeyakara Utsavam

The annual cultural event of Shānkari Nātyasthal started in the year 2011, is a tribute to gems of composers from ancient times to yesteryears. Compositions of more than 60 Vaggeyakaras are performed by more than 100 students through Geetam, Vaadyam, and Nrityam - Vocal, Violin, and Dance. A non-stop marathon of performances includes narration of biographies of vaggeyakaras along with audio-visual presentations.
